Shawn Hartwell is passionate about sustainable seafood and a true seafoodie! Shawn spent 25 years in many kitchens building his knowledge and skills around many different food diversities including some of his own seafood restaurants back home in Ontario.  He and his family decided to move west and found home in Edmonton Alberta where he started his new career as a seafood specialist for Albion Farms & Fisheries specialty company through Gordon’s Food Service in Edmonton AB for the past 6 years. Even though sometimes misses working the grind on the kitchen line, he does love being able to cook at home for his family while still engaging in community events around seafood, food culture and honestly just anything food related gets him excited!  Shawn can’t wait to taste the creations from these talented chefs with two very interesting proteins that will surely lure in the audience’s appetite!  Good luck Chefs!
